OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2008. Almost 94 mln. USD was attracted by companies, who belong to the structure of State company “Uzstroymaterialy” (Uzbek construction materials) for the end of 9 months of 2008. It was announced by the press-service oа the Company.

For the end of 9 months of 2008, the production volume of companies, which belong to the structure of the state company increased by 5.8% in comparison with 9 months of 2007. From that production of cement increased by 102.7%, construction glass – 107.1%, ceramic tile  - 122.7%, silicate bricks – 100.7%. Total volume of the export was 103 mnl USD.

According to the investment program of the country in 2009 there will be attracted foreign direct investments and credits for 90.73 mln. USD, including for new constructions – 32 mln. USD, modernization and construction – 58.73 mln. USD. The main investments would be focused on developing gypsum cardboards and cement production.

Nowadays there have been constructed 3 new cement plants from the resources of foreign investors. There is also planned to build new cement plants with the capacity of 5.4 mln. tons per year.
