OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2008. It will be Russia’s first nuclear information center but in the future similar centers will be opened in all regions hosting nuclear facilities. The first deputy governor of Tomsk region Sergey Tochilin and the head of the Press Service Department of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Novikov are expected to attend the opening ceremony.

One more such center will be opened in Russia by the end of this year – in Voronezh.

The organization of the Tomsk center has been financed by Atomenergoprom OJSC.
