OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 November was announced, that the Foundation Stone of 110/6/6 kV Kotorosl Substation in Yaroslavl Construction will be laid on November 13. The Governor of the Yaroslavl region Sergey Vahrukov, the General Director of IDGC Holding JSC Alexey Kazakov, the General Director of IDGC of Centre JSC Evgeniy Makarov, and also members of the Government of the Yaroslavl region, heads of IDGC of Centre JSC, Yarenergo branch of IDGC of Centre JSC, Glavelektrospetsstroy, Investstroikom, and Kaskadenergo will take part in the action.

Among the future main consumers of 110/6/6 kV Kotorosl are the objects which are planned to be constructed by the anniversary of the city. They are a new inhabited complex, the Congress-Center, Park of the 1000th Anniversary, Marriott hotel, the trading and entertaining complex and Assumption Cathedral which will be erected in the historical part of Yaroslavl at the place of the destroyed temple. Besides, the construction of the new substation will allow to liquidate the existing deficiency of the electric power in the Kirovsky district of Yaroslavl. It is known that for the previous decade (in connection with a growth of business activity, construction of business, inhabited, cultural and trading complexes) the power consumption has considerably increased. Construction of Kotorosl substation, thus, will allow to raise reliability of electric power supply of socially significant objects of the region (apartment houses, schools, medical institutions) and to carry out an opportunity of connection of new consumers.

The installed capacity of Kotorosl substation is 80 MVA with a construction of an overhang of a 110 kV and 3 km double-circuit sector of the power transmission line to the object.

The expenses for realization will equal RUR 476 million. The term of construction of the substation and overhead line site is 2008-2009. Putting the object in commercial operation is planned in 2009. At the first stage (in 2008), development of the design-budget documentation, beginning of construction and assembling, installation of one transformer of 40 MVA, beginning of construction of 110 kV overhead line overhangs are planned. The second stage (2009) includes the end of construction and assembling, installation of the second transformer of 40 MVA, installation of two sections on buses, improvement of the territory of the substation, end of construction of transmission line overhangs.

The given object is included in the program "Overhaul Development of the Municipal Infrastructure of Yaroslavl for 2006-2010 and for the Period up to 2020". Kotorosl substation will be a part of the city group of substations of the Yaroslavl industrial division of Yaroslavlenergo branch of IDGC of Centre, JSC.
