OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 November was announced, that according to preliminary results for the 10 months of 2008, OJSC "Kramatorsky cement plant Pushka", integrated into the Holding company "EUROCEMENT group", 369,1 thousand tons of clinker produced, which amounts to 107 %, (scheduled – 344,8 thousand tons). Due to construction market current situation, cement production for similar period amounted to 490,4 thousand tons of cement, i.e. 90% (scheduled – 551 thousand tons).

For the last two years, the Holding "EUROCEMENT group" has been making active investments in the programs on production maintenance support and upgrading, environment protection, creating appropriate working conditions, medical service, etc. Actual salaries under production technical re-equipment program over the 2005 to September 2008 period amounted to 37,7 million grivnas. Scheduled costs for modernization, repairs and equipping of social facilities for the ten months of 2008 amounted to 3170 thousand grivnas. Environmental-action costs for similar period are equal to 5,68 million grivnas.

Within the range of environmental actions, implemented at OJSC "Kramatorsky cement plant Pushka", modernization projects of dedusting systems of granulated slang drying and "Folloks" coolers were fulfilled, while electrostatic precipitator of rotating kiln #1 is being upgraded.

Tax assessments to all-type budgets of OJSC “Kramatorsky cement plant Pushka” were equivalent to 24 million grivnas, 12 million of which went for income tax. Thus, plant’s tax receipts, within its operation as integration of the Holding, increased three-fold.

Investment programs, implemented in the plant, enabled OJSC "Kramatorsky cement plant Pushka" to take a honourable position among the plants of the international holding CJSC "EUROCEMENT group".
