OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2008. The Chita-ROSNO branch has paid 2,298,869 roubles of insurance compensation to Zabaikalskaya Grain Company Plus Ltd. for the foodstuffs destroyed by the fire, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The fire occurred at one of the warehouses in Chita. It damaged the roof and walls of the building, as well as damaged and partially destroyed the foodstuffs stored at the warehouse (juices, beer, tea, grocery and confectionery products, etc.).

The property insurance contract concluded for one month provided coverage against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact, damage by water from water supply, heating and sewage systems; storm, hail and other natural disasters; burglary, robbery and brigandage; deliberate third-party actions.

The insured property had been previously pledged under the contract concluded between Zabaikalskaya Grain Company Plus Ltd. and one of the banks based in Chita Region. Under the insurance contract, the insurance protection covered ready-made products and product stocks stored at the warehouse.
