National Development Association Established in Russia
OREANDA-NEWS. November 10, 2008. The National Development Association (NDA), which includes over 15 major development companies, was created in Russia, reports Artur Markaryan, Director General of Glavstroy at the meeting of the NDA press club.
Markaryan mentioned that he was appointed the leader of the new association.
"In the current situation, one of the main tasks for the association is informational transparency and consistency of the actions of its participants. If this problem is not solved, we will not be able to overcome public opinion and the business community,’ told Markaryan.
He declared that there is no common vision about development in today’s market.
"At present, the market is very broad, the number and scope of projects are huge, and their range is so extensive that there is no considerable competition, and every player has its place,’ said Markaryan.
He specified that the association would be responsible for its members, which is especially relevant under current conditions of financial instability.
"If a company starts a project, it must carry it through without fail. Therefore, our objective, among others, will be supporting and maintaining our member organizations,' stated Markaryan.
According to him, over 15 major developers became members of the association, including Glavstroy, Don-Stroy, Ferro-Stroy, and Unikor. However, Markaryan declined to announce the full list of the companies which became the members of the new association.
