OREANDA-NEWS. November 06, 2008. Uzbek President Islam Karimov resolved to announce contest among commercial banks of Uzbekistan on attraction of free resources of population to deposits.

The document was aimed at stimulation activity of commercial banks in attraction free resources of population to deposits and strengthening resource base of the banks to expand their investment opportunity.

The resolution said that all banks of Uzbekistan and their divisions can take part at the contest and those banks, which collected highest points, will be the winners.
