OREANDA-NEWS. November 7, 2008. Rostekhnadzor (Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision) has completed its target inspection of Mayak Production Association (Ozersk, Chelyabinsk region) and has found no deficiencies or deviations.

The inspectors checked up the company’s compliance with the requirements of nuclear, radiation and technical safety.

Particularly, they inspected the efficiency of the company’s system of control of nuclear materials, radioactive matters and radioactive waste and physical protection system.

Mayak PA is one of the oldest companies of Russia’s nuclear industry. It specializes in storing and processing irradiated nuclear fuel.
