OREANDA-NEWS. November 7, 2008. Stroytransgaz Chairman of the Management Board Vyacheslav Makhonin and company First Vice-President Leonid Bokhanovsky completed a two-day visit to Turkmenistan. The Stroytransgaz representatives took part in official activities devoted to celebrating Turkmenistan’s Independence Day.

During the visit, the senior executives from Stroytransgaz met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedov. Both sides confirmed their interest and preparedness to broaden business contact, and they discussed specific steps for mutually beneficial collaboration in the meeting.

Representatives of the Russian company held discussions with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Tachberdi Tagiev, director of the State Agency for Supervising the Use of Oil and Gas Resources under the President of Turkmenistan Yagshigeldi Kakaev, and chairman of the State concern “Turkmengas” Baymyrat Hojamuhammedov. In these meetings, questions concerning the practical realization of upcoming construction projects for the fuel and energy industry in Turkmenistan were at the forefront of discussions.
