OREANDA-NEWS  On 07 November was announced, that Raiffeisen Bank Aval received two second positions in the categories "Bank of the Year" and "The Most Reliable Bank" — "MasterCard Bank of the Year" final ceremony awards, which took place in the Ukrainian House in Kyiv.

The winners in the category "Bank of the Year" were defined by the professional jury composed of the experts of the financial market: heads of Ukrainian and international companies, scientists, analysts and leading journalists. The public acted as the jury for the category "The Most Reliable Bank": this rating reflected the results of the Internet and SMS voting by people.

The goal of the "MasterCard Bank of the Year" Award was to define the best products and services of the financial institutions operating in Ukraine. The main criterion of the rating was the focus of banks and insurance companies on retail customers.

This year "MasterCard Bank of the Year" Award was held in Ukraine for the second time. Apart from Ukraine, the same contest is usually held in Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland and Hungary.
