OREANDA-NEWS  On 06 November was announced, that JSC "Concern Stirol" during 3 quarter of 2008 increased sales and production volumes for all main final products. In total "Stirol" during 3d quarter this year has sold final products on the amount of 1 billion 692 mln. 013 thousand hryvnas (UAH), that is by 114,2% more than during the same period of last year.

In particular, during 3d quarter 2008 company increased sales of ammonia 6 times comparing to 3d quarter 2007 (464 mln. 198 ths. UAH), urea 2,7 times (560 mln. 848 ths. UAH), granulated ammonium nitrate by 47,9% (408 mln. 71 ths. UAH), sodium nitrate 2,5 times (15 mln. 904 ths. UAH), sulfuric acid -4.7 times (on the sum of 28 mln. 855 ths. UAH), pharmaceutical products by 4,9% (14 mln. 443 ths. UAH), polystyrenes by 20,0% (90 mln. 510 ths. UAH).

Company also has increased production volumes.

So during 3d quarter 2008 it has been produced 339 ths. 408 t of ammonia (+62,6%), 234 ths. 868 t of urea (+37,3%), 114 ths. 643 t of granulated ammonium nitrate (+22,0%), 9 ths. 922 t of polystyrenes (+34,9%), 281 mln. 460 ths. pieces of pharmaceutical products (+0,6%). During this period of time Company has produced 42 mln. 089 ths. kWt.h, 15 times more comparing to 3d quarter of 2007.

During this reported period of time labour productivity at the Company also has been increased by 39,5% up to USD  307 007 US dollars per person.

During 3d quarter 2008 Concern has been increased export sales 2,7 times (1 billion 172 mln. 564 ths. UAH.)

In particular, it was increased export sales of ammonia 6, 2 times, urea- 2,8 times, granulated ammonium nitrate by 79,9%, polystyrenes by 26,2%, sodium nitrate 2,6 times.

During this period earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) comparing with 3d quarter 2007 increased 8,7 times (286 mln. 075 ths. UAH). Earnings of the Company before interest and taxation (EBIT) increased 26,6 times (246 810 ths. UAH).

Free operating cash flow (FOCF, main resource for creation of equity and domestic investments) of JSC “Concern Stirol” during 3 quarter 2008 has increased by 146 mln. 685 ths. UAH or 2,5 times, comparing to the same period of the previous year.

Net profit of the Company for 3d quarter 2008 was 185 mln. 920 ths. UAH, i.e. 11,5 times up comparing the same period of last year.

Return on Assets (ROA) increased from 1,5% in 3 quarter 2007 up to 7,4% in 3d quarter 2008. Return on Equity (ROE) raised from 1,9% up to 10,5%, and net income margin from 3% up to 11%.
