LuhanskTeplovoz Cuts Work Week to 3 Days from November
OREANDA-NEWS On 06 November was announced, that holding company LuhanskTeplovoz (LTPL) decided to reduce working time from five to three days a week starting on November 1 because of curtailing production volumes.
The enterprise found itself in a difficult financial situation for the impossibility to draw loans, the source says.
There are problems involved in implementation of orders. We have a zero credit capacity for the central bank's ban on crediting. This resulted in difficult finance conditions. That is why we need to reduce working time and go over to three workdays a week from November.
The Kremenchuk wheel and car assembly plants in Poltava region also decided to reduce working week to three from five and four days, respectively, because of production cuts.
Luhanskteplovoz produces mainline diesel locomotives, diesel trains, direct and alternating current electric trains, conveyers, railcars, and equipment for suburban trains and trams, as well as ore and coal mining equipment.
