OREANDA-NEWS. November 5, 2008. OJSC “Company “M.video” (RTS, MICEX: MVID) announces the opening of the chain’s first hypermarket in Novotroitsk (Orenburg region, Volga Federal District).

The new store accounts to 2600 sq.m. of total space, has more than 20 000 SKUs of consumer electronics and digital products and as much as 7000 media products. The pre-opening costs amounted to 55 million roubles.

Up to date M.video group operates 28 hypermarkets in Volga Federal District of Russia.

The company confirms its plans to open up to 40 new stores in 2008.
