Mixed-Use Complex to Go Up in Southeast Moscow
OREANDA-NEWS On 05 November was announced, that a hotel and shopping complex consisted of the structures of various heights is to be put up along the northern bank of the brook Novo-Khokhlovsky in southeast Moscow.
“The prospective development of the area within the southeastern administrative district of Moscow limited by Nizhegorodskaya Street, the third ring road and the ring railway is under discussion,” Aleksandr Kuzmin, head architect of Moscow, said at a session of Public Council for Urban Development under Moscow City Mayor on October 29.
According to the official, a planning design stipulates the construction of a hotel for 1,000 guests, offices, retail outlets, restaurants as well as a cinema and an entertainment complex.
The hotel building is planned to be of various heights, a number of storeys will be increased in the direction from the centre of Moscow.
A three-level underground garage and parking lots with the total capacity of more than 5,000 vehicles are also to be set up.
Moscow City Mayor Yuri Luzhkov estimated the introduced development design as too crowding and gave an indication to decrease the erection load on the allocated area.
