OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2008. The Russian Bank for Development participated in a conference on SME funding which took place in Nizhniy Novgorod. The conference was organized by Association of Russian Banks, RBD and Chief administration of the Central Bank in the Nizhegorodskaya Oblast, reported the press-centre of RBD.
 
According to RBD’s representative, regardless the financial stress the Russian Bank for Development is continuing implementation its SME Lending Support Program via counter-party banks and intends to support regional banks which extend loans to enterprises in the real economy. Alongside RBD focuses on funding establishing and operations of SME infrastructure support entities.

Besides ARB, Chief administration of the Central Bank in the Nizhegorodskaya Oblast and RBD, representatives of a number of regional commercial banks and federal branch banks took part in the conference.
