OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2008.  Baku Heating Power Station is going to carry out major repairs of one out of two existing gas-turbine units with capacity of 53.5 megawatt.

Azerenerji linked to Station’s Director Mehti Bakhishov said this November the gas-turbine unit #1 will be inspected.

The Stations keeps demonstrating over-target power production volumes.

“This September production made 45 million kWh (forecast: 40 million kWh) with special energy consumption of 3 million kWh. For Jan-Sep the Station generated 326 million kWh of power that exceeds the forecast by 34 million kWh,” M.Bakhishov said. This September the Station produced 25 million gigacalories of thermal energy (+3,000 gigacalories to the target) and in Jan-Sep – 452,000 gigacalories with the forecast of 425 gigacalories.
