OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2008.  Economic and Legal School of FBK received ACCA Accreditation Commission, represented by Debby Talbot and Elena Vasich, as well as the Head of ACCA Russian Representative Office-Ilya Yuferev, reported the press-centre of FBK.

The purpose of their visit was to check the quality of organization of educational process. By the results of the check, the commission gave Economic and Legal School of FBK status of Approved Learning Partner (ALP) Gold level. Economic and Legal School of FBK is one of the first to receive this level of accreditation.

In 2006 was accredited by ACCA as Registered Tuition Provider-on programs of preparation for professional scheme exams and ACCA Diploma in International Financial Reporting. In 2007 ACCA accepted new criterion for study centers, including system requirements to quality of education and organization of studies.

Accreditation under new program got started in 2008 and presupposes thorough and direct familiarization with activity of study centers as well as direct meeting the audience.

Economic and Legal School of FBK has been conducting teaching on ACCA programs starting from 2005. So far they have prepared about a thousand qualified specialists. At the moment Economic and Legal School of FBK is rightfully one of the country leading centers in IFRS preparation.

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of Great Britain is one of the largest international non-profit qualifying organizations of professional accountants and financiers. It was established in 1904. Its head office is situated in London. At the moment it has over 260 students and 110 members working in more than 170 countries of the world.
