OREANDA-NEWS. October 29, 2008. The Russian head of state noted that the package of documents on bilateral economic cooperation signed earlier in the day on the basis of talks between Wen Jiabao and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin reflects the extensive contacts between the two countries.

In particular, Russia and China signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the oil sector, a separate agreement on the construction and operation of the pipeline from Skovorodino to the Chinese border (a branch of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean pipeline) and a number of other agreements. In total 12 documents were signed.
