OREANDA-NEWS. On October 27, 2008 AS Eesti Telekom appointed a new member to the Council of AS MicroLink Eesti, which is wholly owned by AS Eesti Telekom, reported the press-centre of Eesti Telekom.

Tiit Tammiste was appointed as a member to the MicroLink Eesti Council. Valdo Kalm (chairman of the Council), Leho Tamm, Valdur Laid and Arti Ots will continue as members of the MicroLink Eesti Council. 

Tiit Tammiste works for Estonian leading mobile operator EMT as CIO from the beginning of year 2001 and from January 1st 2008 as Member of Management Board.From1st of July 2007 he also acts as a IT Strategy Director for Estonian Telecom Group.

Tiit Tammiste is graduated from Tallinn Technical University in microelectronics in 1982 and has 26 years experience in IT industry.

Tiit Tammiste does not own any AS Eesti Telekom shares.
