PAVA Flour Is in Demand with Russian Confectionery Manufacturers
OREANDA-NEWS On 28 October was announced, that Altay grain processor PAVA (www.apkhleb.ru), one of the major players on the Russian flour market, manufactures flour on special orders from Russian confectionery enterprises. Technologies used by PAVA mills allow to produce flour with various quality characteristics that would suit requirements for specific confectionery products.
The largest clients, ordering flour for production of confectionery are companies ‘Sladonezh’ from the Omsk region and Kemerovo confectionery enterprise ‘KVD Yashkino’. The former company purchases PAVA flour for producing biscuits, while the latter uses it in manufacture of wafers.
“Today, we are open for negotiations on producing flour with different quality characteristics. If we collaborate with a manufacturer of wafers they require a certain milling blend, while for producers of biscuits and fancy cakes it would be a totally different composition of flour. Before signing a contract, we usually send sample consignments of flour to our partners”, said Angela Kiseleva, OJSC PAVA Commercial Director.
In the European part of Russia high-grade PAVA flour is actively used by manufacturers of muffins, puffs, doughnuts and crisp bread-rings. Russian bread-baking complexes prefer Altay flour in production of fancy cakes. The largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East has solid experience of working with cake manufacturers. Besides, during quite a long period of time the company has maintained collaboration with an Altay producer of corn sticks.
‘Zauralsky Kreker’ is a plant in PAVA structure that produces crackers, sugar cookies and biscuits. It exclusively uses the flour produced by the Altay grain processor.
