Galnaftogaz Shares Experience with Kazakhstan Independent Directors
OREANDA-NEWS On 28 October was announced, that member of the Board of Directors of Concern Galnaftogaz Andriy Khudo, invited by Kazakhstan Independent Directors Association (KIDA), made a report at the second Club meeting. The meeting was dedicated to the consideration of practical aspects of corporate governance reformation towards rise of companies' investment attractiveness. The main contributor of the meeting Andriy Khudo shared Concern Galnaftogaz experience in organization of corporate governance, working out and introduction of Corporate Governance Code, formation of Company's Strategic plan of development and attracting of financial resources for the realization of this plan.
Besides Andriy Khudo, Karl Bach, IFC Central Asia Corporate Governance Project manager, and Rachel Freeman, IFC general operative investment manager, participated in the second Club session. Meeting of Directors' Club took place in hotel Hyatt Regency Almaty.
Kazakhstan Independent Directors Association (KIDA) is a professional organization of independent directors; the main aim of it is to help the development of corporate governance in Kazakhstan.
KIDA acts with the assistance of IFC Central Asia Corporate Governance Project and with Deloitte support.
