OREANDA-NEWS  On 28 October was announced, that Gubakha Coke (Perm Territory), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), achieved bulk coke production of 403.3 thousand tonnes and processed 47.8 thousand tonnes of coal pitch for the nine months of 2008. These are 83.1 and 10.1 thousand tonnes more than last year’s figures respectively.

Coke output in September reached 46.3 thousand tonnes, which was a 49% increase over the September 2007 result. The actual volume of coal pitch processing was 5.8 thousand tonnes, or 38% more than in the equivalent period last year.
