OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2008. The press service of the Ulyanovsk Government reports that the Center is supposed to treat cancer by means of short-lived isotopes. The project has already been approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.

500mln RUR will be budgeted for design and survey work in 2009.

In 2010–2011 the project will receive 14bln RUR: 7bln RUR for the development of infrastructure, 7bln RUR for the formation of material-technical base. The Center is to be ready in 2011.
