OREANDA-NEWS  On 27 October was announced, that the Bank Of Russia Put Transcreditbank’s Series 03 Bond On The Lombard List. This is what states the Bank of Russia’s letter, dated October 7, 2008, #127-T, published in Vestnik Banka Rossii.  The lombard list includes some sub-sovereign bonds, RUR bonds issued by Russian banks, debt securities issued outside of Russia by corporate borrowers who are not RF residents.

In addition to TransCreditBank’s bonds with the state registration number of 40302142B, the list contains bonds issued by Petrokommerts, Promsvyazbank, VTB 24, Bank of Moscow, other Russian banks and corporations.

The decision on inclusion/exclusion on/from the Bank of Russia’s lombard list of a particular bond issue is taken by its Board of Directors in respect of issuers with sufficient classification level by an international scale or where performance of obligations is secured by Russian state guarantees.
