OREANDA-NEWS. On October 23, 2008 Nordea has launched a new version of its online bank for enterprises, developed on the same platform as the online bank for private customers launched in an upgraded version last year, reported the press-centre of Nordea Bank.

Current online banking customers will receive a code card for use of the new and improved bank within two months. Until then, they will be able to continue to conduct bank transactions in the old environment using the existing codes.

A new feature compared to the old environment is the possibility for one user to enter a payment and a second user to confirm it. The process of making payments and the payee register have also been improved. There have also been improvements made to the account statement menu and other Netbank features.

Chairman of the Nordea Estonia management board Vahur Kraft says that over the last two years, Nordea Bank has become more available for its customers, thanks to expansion of its offices as well as the new version of the online bank for private and corporate customers.
A similar Internet bank platform is in use in Nordea Latvia and Lithuania as well. Nordea Bank has over 4.9 million online bank customers.
