OREANDA-NEWS. Following publication of unreliable information in the article "The guilty of the PIB crisis....indentified" by online edition Oligarkh.net (on 22 October, 2008), SCM considers it necessary to declare that, reported the press-centre of PRAVEX-BANK:

The article features unreliable information that SCM/its majority shareholder have initiated the current situation in Prominvestbank (PIB). This information is absolutely groundless. The so-called "facts" described in the online story indicating that SCM/its shareholder were involved in the situation at PIB are clearly untrue.

The position outlined in the article is not reliable and the information damages business reputation of SCM/its shareholder noticeably.

We have approached the editorial office of Oligarkh.net and demanded to publish an immediate rebuttal. SCM believes that publication of articles of such quality is unacceptable in the Ukrainian business press, regards them as slander and provocation and is set to defend its business reputation applying all legal ways including, if necessary, in courts.
