OREANDA-NEWS. October 23, 2008. The Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) Mr. Igor Artemiev met the Minister Counsellor (Economic) of the British Embassy in Moscow Ms. Caroline Wilson. During the meeting the participants discussed Russian- British cooperation on the issues that are in the FAS Russia competence, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The participants exchanged opinions on the competition legislation and the relevant enforcement practice in the Russian Federation. They discussed the legal aspects of the "second antimonopoly folder" as well. Besides, the issues of the enforcement practice connected with the application of the Federal Law "Procedures for Foreign Investments in the Business Entities of Strategic Importance for Russian National Defense and State Security" were touched upon.

As a result of the meeting the Parties agreed to continue cooperation.
