OREANDA-NEWS  On 23 October was announced, that Sibirtelecom put into operation a modern telecommunication netowrk in the Belogorsk settlement of city type, Tisulsky District of Kemerovo Region. One more spot without telecommunication disappeared from the telecommunication map of Siberia. The 3,000 residents of the settlement enjoy wire communication and a wide range of new telecommunication services.

Aleksander Isaev, General Director of Sibirtelecom; Galina Solovyova, Councilor of Governor of Kemerovo Region; Galina Chernova, Chief of the Department of Transportation and Communication of Kemerovo Region; Vera Khisamova, acting Head of Tisulsky District and other guests of honour took part in the presentation of the network in the Belogorsk settlement of city type.

Galina Chernova, Chief of the Department of Transportation and Communication of Kemerovo Region, marked in her speech that ‘absence of local and intrazonal communication was a serious problem for those who lived in the Belogorsk settlement. Up to the present day, the communication with the settlement was carried out through a manual switchboard, it was of low quality and could not satisfy the existing demand for telecommunication services. Now this problem has been successfully solved’.

The digital automatic exchange which was put into operation has the capacity of 1,024 numbers, it makes it possible to provide the residents not only with the services of traditional telephoning, but also of intrazonal telephone communication, wide-band Internet access. It is the basis for the introduction of the most advanced technologies.

‘Telephones installation in the settlement of city type Belogorsk is a considerable achievement for Sibirtelecom. It is a step in the successful development of telecommunication services in Siberian Federal District’, said Aleksander Isaev, General Director of Sibirtelecom, OJSC. ‘Now the residents of the remote settlement are provided with reliable and high-quality telephone communications, they can use the most modern services of communication’.

Unique equipment – media-lock I-Gate – has been introduced to organize inter-station communication between the Belogorsk settlement of city type and Tisul, the district center. This equipment is used for the first time on the territory of Siberian Federal District in the zone of activity of Sibirtelecom. Construction of new telephone station has become possible due to the cooperation of the company Sibirtelecom with Krasnoyarsk direction of communications of Central communications station – the Branch of ‘Russian Railways’, OJSC, which provided existing fiber-optic communication line for organization of coming from automatic exchanges to the communication net of general usage. All construction works on putting telecommunication net into operation were fulfilled by the representatives of building and assembly body ‘Soyuz-Telefonstroy’, OJSC.

Aleksander Isaev, General Director of Sibirtelecom, OJSC was awarded with a medal of Kemerovo Region ‘For Serving Kuzbass’ at a solemn ceremony of putting the new telephone station into operation. The first call to the veteran of the Second World War, Vyacheslav Prokopyevich Shalayev, was made at the presentation; the first performance of videoconference communication with the District Center of Kuzbass was carried out; the first person connected to the telephone station, the subscriber Sergey Kirpichnikov, received a valuable present – a notebook. The residents of the settlement became acquainted with all opportunities of the new automatic exchange – the specialists of the company Sibirtelecom organized demonstration of local and intrazonal telephone communication, Internet access, working places for communication operators for concluding agreements on rendering services at the stand. Press-conference was held for the invited journalists, the leaders of Sibirtelecom, Administration of Kemerovo Region and Tisul District took part in it.
