OREANDA-NEWS  On 23 October was announced, that an annual forum of large businesses of Russia took place in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Moscow on October 17. The forum was attended by S. Ivanov, Deputy Chair of the Government of Russia, representatives of various ministries and agencies, members of the State Duma of Russia  (“Expert” magazine, October 6-12, 2008,  № 39). For the third consecutive year Ingosstrakh was announced the winner in the nomination “Information Openness”. According to Dmitry Grishankov, General Director of Expert RA, “this was a difficult choice, because in last years many Russian companies have started to realize how important it is to have an open information policy. Ingosstrakh deserved this award, and this is another proof of the fact that the role of insurance in the economy is growing”.

This week, Standard&Poor`s confirmed long-term BBB- credit ratings of counterpart and finacial stability of Ingosstrakh, stable outlook, and ruAA+ on the national scale. At the moment, Ingosstrakh is the only large  Russian insurer assigned such high ratings by Standard & Poor`s.

Ingosstrakh was also awarded many prizes. In May 2008, Ingosstrakh was awarded the “Golden Salamandra” for the  “Quality of Insurance Services 2007”, and in 2006 and 2007 the Company was recognized as the “Best Insurance Company”. In  April 2008 Ingosstrakh won the competition Brand of the  Year/ EFFIE 2007; in summer  it received a golden diploma from the“Glory of Nation” award. Ingosstrakh also won the competition of the Financial Press Club for the “Most Transparent Inssurance Company in Russia” (platinum diploma) and won the nomination for the “Most Reliable Insurance Company” of the Financial Elite of Russia award. For the third consecutive year,  the company was recognized as one of the “Most Valuable Russian Brands” . Ingosstrakh was awarded a diploma as the “High-Perfoming Financial Organization 2007“.
