OREANDA-NEWS  On 23 October was announced, that Mykola Tolmachev, founder and General Director of TMM Company, named as one of 12 finalists for the national 'Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008' world's most prestigious business award, which is held by Ernst & Young.

While considering candidates for the best 'Entrepreneur of the Year' in Ukraine award, such individual management competencies as entrepreneurial spirit, innovativeness, branch influence and corporate social responsibility were taken into account. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national 'Entrepreneur of the Year' in Ukraine award winner, will be announced during solemn awards ceremony on December, 6. 2008. Ukrainian 'Entrepreneur of the Year' winner will be named among 'World Entrepreneur Of The Year' award 2009 finalists and will represent Ukraine in Monte Carlo in June, 2009.

Ernst & Young 'Entrepreneur of the Year' awards have been carried out for 22 years in more than 50 countries of the world. The representatives of big and middle business can participate in the awards. Regional 'Entrepreneur of the Year' winners are determined by national jury - independent experts recognized as leaders in business community. Ukraine took part in 'Entrepreneur of the Year' awards for the first time in 2006.
