OREANDA-NEWS  On 22 October was announced, that in the Second Half of 2008 IDGC of Centre, JSC Spent over 10.5M Roubles on Support of Social Programmes in the Kursk Region. One of the main tasks of power workers is revival of sacred places and development of the intellectual level of the younger generation.

According to the decision of IDGC of Centre, JSC Board of Directors, the company allocated money for the reconstruction of a monastery where Holy Sign miracle-working icon of Blessed Virgin miraculously appeared, and the reconstruction of St. Nicholas Church in Manturovsk District.

Power workers equipped computer classes for the pupils of Timsk, Gorshechensk and Manturovsk secondary schools. Thanks to the modern computer equipment, now they can raise their educational level and broaden their minds. By helping the pupils to master new information technologies power workers help to prepare personnel reserve for the grid complex of the Kursk Region.
