OREANDA-NEWS. October 21, 2008. The Russian paper  published the rating of the Association of Managers of Russia for performance in Russia in 2007 "Top -1000 Russian Managers". The First Deputy General Directorа-Director for Economy and Finance of JSC "Tatenergo" Gulsina Minnekhanova takes the fifth position among the best financial directors of the fuel and energy complex.

By 2001 the Association of Managers and the paper started annual determining the best managers of the country in the industry and functional dimension. The competition comprises several stages. At first the laureates of the previous year, the most professional top- managers from the top best in the category, are nominated till ten colleagues. Selection is done both from among the managers of industry companies and the secondary top-managers or mangers of specific dimension: information technologies, finances, marketing, PR, human resource management.

On base of the analysis of information from the nominees and from the other sources of information on the achievements, the experts of the association chose about two thousand best candidates to be voted on. The Laureates will be those who collect the maximal votes. Today the rating is determined by 500 best General Directors and 100 best operational managers of each profile.

Although according the rules the rating shows the best managers in opinion of the experts, the impact on selection of the laureates is done by integral results and image of companies in which they work. The task of the experts is to bring to judgment of the stakeholders the candidatures of the managers who made input in creating the high class companies and realization of specific significant projects.

Individual input by manager may be assessed on base of how frequently the managers of the company are included in the rating in various nominations. The many awards of Gulsina Munirovna Minnekhanova, Chief Finance Officer of JSC "Tatenergo" holding, there is the bronze figure of the Catherine the Great, awarded to her as the absolute winner in All-Russia competition "Manager of the Year".
