BIG Earns 126.5 mln Kroons in Profit for Nine Months
OREANDA-NEWS On 21 October was announced, that the volume of loans issued by Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS (BIG) reached 2.4 billion kroons by the end of the III quarter this year while the bank’s profit in the first nine months was 126.5 million kroons, BIG have informed the Tallinn Stock Exchange.
BIG’s balance sheet total reached 2.954 billion kroons by the end of September, which is 334.2 million kroons more than at the beginning of this year (quarter growth: 254.8 million kroons). Client receivables reached 2.389 billion kroons, i.e. 80.9% of the total assets, increasing by 169.5 million kroons during the last quarter (growth from the beginning of this year: 189.4 million kroons). The number of loan contracts reached 142,000 by the end of the period (end of the second quarter: 128,000).
The accounts of BIG had 473.1 million kroons as of the end of the III quarter, accounting for 16.0% of the company’s balance sheet total. The fund volume increased by 104.2 million kroons compared to the beginning of the year.
BIG's deposit portfolio reached 567.4 million kroons in the III quarter, a 37.1% increase compared to the end of the previous quarter, and it constituted 23.7% of the company’s liabilities.
BIG’s loan portfolio in the III quarter enjoyed the highest-percentage growth in Lithuania, going up by 46.5%. In Estonia and Latvia the loan issue and repayment ratio remained approximately even, as the loan portfolio increased by 44.5 million kroons from the beginning of the year.
BIG earned 126.5 million kroons in profit in the first 9 months of this year. The III quarter profit was 37.3 million kroons (42.3 million kroons in the same period last year).
BIG shall publish the complete III quarter interim report by the end of November.
