OREANDA-NEWS  On 21 October was announced, that Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) grew 10.7% on the year in January-September 2008 to 93.165 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br).

Industrial output in January-September amounted to 98.12 trillion rubles, showing a 13.1% increase on the year.

Farm output as of October 1, 2008 stood at 21.139 trillion rubles, up 6.9% on the year in the period.

In 2007, Belarus’ GDP grew 8.1% on the year to 96.048 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 91.504 trillion rubles, up 8.5% on the year. Farm output increased 4.1% to 17.932 trillion rubles.
