OREANDA-NEWS  On 21 October Trubodetal (Chelyabinsk), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), reported its operating results for September 2008 and the third quarter of 2008.

Trubodetal manufactured 1,385.8 tonnes of products last month, or 54.3% more than the planned figure of 898.1 tonnes.

In September 2008, Trubodetal shipped 429.2 tonnes of pipe bends manufactured using high-frequency currents. This was a 145.5% increase over the planned target, resulting from the production of some pipe bends ahead of schedule. The plant produced 430.6 tonnes of pipe fittings in accordance with the specifications, or 87.1% more than planned (230.1 tonnes). In August 2008, Trubodetal produced 682.6 tonnes of pipe fittings in accordance with the GOST requirements. This figure was 83% more than the planned target.

Trubodetal’s output for the third quarter of 2008 reached 4,443.7 tonnes, which was a 44.7% increase over the planned figure of 3,070.5 tonnes. In the third quarter of 2008, Trubodetal produced 869.1 tonnes of pipe bends manufactured using high-frequency currents. This was a 1.9% increase over the planned target. The plant produced 1,672.2 tonnes of pipe fittings in accordance with the specifications, or 73.6% more than planned (963.4 tonnes). In the third quarter of 2008, Trubodetal produced 1,902.4 tonnes of pipe fittings in accordance with the GOST requirements. This figure was 51.7% more than the planned target.
