As of late 2007, currency reserves of NBM made US 1 billion 333,68 million, as of late I quarter 2008- US 1 billion 424,29 million, as of late I half 2008- US 1 billion 525,95 million.

Historic boundary of US 1 billion was exceeded in late August 2007 and the level of US1,5 billion-in late June 2008.
