OREANDA-NEWS. October 17, 2008. The Nizhny Novgorod branch of the insurance company ROSNO has paid an insurance compensation to a private individual under the property insurance contract, following loss of such property as a result of third-party misconduct, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The theft took place in the town Kstovo of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The malefactors got into the apartment through window and took away the insurant’s property: home appliances, fur overcoats, and large quantity of golden jewellery.

Under the contract, the apartment had been insured together with structural elements, internal furnishings and plumbing systems, as well as movable property for the total amount exceeding 2.5 million roubles. The insurance contract provided coverage against the following risks: fire, lightning stroke, gas explosion, illegal third-party actions, burglary, robbery, brigandage, natural disasters, and aircraft impact.

The compensation under this insured accident equalled 508,588 roubles.
