OREANDA-NEWS  On 17 October was announced, that within nine months of 2008 JSC Irkutskenergo power stations produced 44.687bn kW h of electric power, that is by 5 % more than in the similar indicator of the last year. Thus, the output at hydroelectric power stations was 32.853bn kW h (in 2007, 36.273bn kW h); output at thermal stations, 11.834bn kW h (in 2007, 6.313bn kW h). The output decrease at hydroelectric power stations was caused by low inflow to HPSs' water basins of Angara-Yenisei chain.

Production supply of electric energy for nine months of 2008 was 39.585bn kW h (in 2007, 37.282bn kW h), including power supply to own consumers of 34.282bn kW h (in 2007, 32.234bn kW h).

Production supply of electric energy, as compared to a similar period of the last year, increased up to 15.721 m Gcal (in 2007, 14.945m Gcal).
