OREANDA-NEWS. On October 15, 2008 The State Tax Administration Board of Donetsk Region initiated awarding the best tax-payers of Donetsk Region among legal entities and individuals, reported the press-centre of SCM Group.

This move aims to raise the social meaning of paying taxes and charges in full and timely manner, and to promote the principles of socially responsible business.

This is the second year SCM Group has been an absolute leader that pays taxes to the regional budgets. Thus, in 2006 the enterprises of the Group transferred UAH 407,897.9 to the region’s budget, and in 2007 – UAH 553,076.2.

Moreover, according to the State Tax Administration, SCM Group is one of the best tax-payers in Ukraine. In particular, SCM Group has one of the best balance of payments to the budgets among Ukrainian Financial and Industrial Groups as of 1 July, 2008, with its tax payment growth rates in 2008 far exceeding gross revenue growth rates.
