OREANDA-NEWS. October 16, 2008. The Gazprom Headquarters hosted a first meeting of the Company’s Coordinating Group for cooperation with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SOC) Business Council. The meeting was moderated by Alexander Ananenkov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, Head of the Coordinating Group.

The meeting considered the organizational issues related to the Coordinating Group’s activities, particularly the implementation status of the Plan of Actions for 2008-2009. Special emphasis was placed on such business lines as ecology, medical monitoring of the population in the regions of joint operations, training, re-training and qualification upgrading of the management, experts and production workers for oil, gas and energy companies of the SOC member countries.
