OREANDA-NEWS  On 14 October was announced, that the delegation headed by Emil Tarasyan, Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Economy makes a working visit to NKR. The visit was organized with the initiative of the Minister of Economy as a result of the Prime-Minister's call (made during the RA governmental delegation's visit to NKR, on September 2, 2008) for broadening of intergovernmental collaboration and exchanging of experience between the Republic of Armenia and NKR.

The main purpose of the visit was the activation and expansion of current economic ties between the Ministry of Economy of RA and Ministry of Economic Development of NKR, as well as the governance system modernisation, improvement of IT sphere and business environment, and also the exchange of experience on attraction of investments.

The representatives of the Ministry of Economy had a meeting with Benik Babayan, the Minister of Economic Development, Armen Avagyan, Deputy Minister and other officials. During the meeting the officials of the Ministry of Economy presented the process of economic reforms, main priorities and programs developed by the government of Armenia.

On October 4, at the NKR governmental conference hall the comprehensive discussions on topics, mentioned high above were held. During the discussion, two topics on improvement of IT sphere developed by the Ministry of Economy were presented – "Conception on the implementation of interactive learning in educational system of RA "and "Application of the electronic signature in state institutions". The possibilities of their implementation in NKR were discussed also.

The governmental officials of NKR noted that they are impressed by the reformation process in RA, especially by the reforms developed in the Ministry of Economy. Benik Babayan, the Minister of Economic Development of NKR mentioned, that they give a grate importance to the electronic learning system, and also they are interested by the implementation of this conception in NKR, the proof of it is the "Law about the electronic document and electronic signature", recently passed by the National Assembly of NKR. The officials from both sides agreed to meet frequently in future for exchange of experience.
