Extraction of Natural Gas in Ukraine Rose by 0.9%
OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2008. The extraction of natural gas in the territory of Ukraine in January - September 2008 rose by 0.9% (by 146.3 million cubic meters) on the like 2007 period, up to 15.654,5 billion cubic meters, including natural gas by 1.2% (170.6 million cubic meters) to 14.882,2 billion cubic meters, the Fuel and Energy Ministry reported.
Enterprises of national joint stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine reduced gas output in nine months by 0.5% (by 65.4 million cubic meters) to 14.326,3 billion cubic meters, including natural gas by 0.1% (16.9 million cubic meters) to 13.683,1 billion cubic meters.
Other oil and gas mining companies working in this country increased in January - September the extraction of gas by 19% (211.7 million cubic meters) to 1.328,2 billion cubic meters, including natural gas by 18.5% (187.5 million cubic meters ) to 1.199,1 billion cubic meters.
The 2007 gas output reduced by 1.2% (246.1 million cubic meters) on 2006, to 20.604,3 billion cubic meters, including natural gas by 1.1% (211.6 million cubic meters) to 19.532,2 billion cubic meters.
