Ukraine Denied from Prolonging Antidumping Duties on Matches
OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2008. Ukraine has denied from prolonging antidumping duties on matches from the Russian Federation and Belarus, despite the Rivne match factory and limited liability company Ukrainian Match Factory asked.
Despite the activity of those Ukrainian enterprises was unprofitable, they failed to give enough proofs that it resulted from dumping," reported the interagency commission for international trade.
September 27, 2008 is a deadline for antidumping duties concerning the import of matches from Russia and Belarus.
In 2003, Ukraine imposed five-year antidumping duties on Russian matches at the level of 8.8%, and Belarusian 31.8% - 95.7% respective of the production country.
