OREANDA-NEWS. October 10, 2008. New type of product — wallpaper which can be painted — has appeared in the product line of the largest Russian manufacturer of paint and varnish.

This step became the logical continuation of the assortment policy of Empils providing for production of decorative coatings for all kinds of surfaces.

Fliseline-backed (i.e. non-woven backing) vinyl wallpaper is the most dynamic and promising market segment. It excellently meets today’s requirements of consumer: they are safe for health, simple in application, reliable and allow implementing any creative decoration ideas. Fliseline-backed wallpaper does not demand special skills of gluing. It is necessary to apply glue on the wall only, and a sheet of wallpaper does not change its size when soaked. Wallpaper which can be painted allows concealing small defects of walls and is resistant to wet cleaning. It is eco-friendly, highly resistant to washing and light, does not form seen joints, can be painted repeatedly and is easily removed without preliminary soaking.

The line of EMPILS wallpaper is designated both for professionals, and for people doing repair themselves (DIY sector). During the market entry EMPILS' product line is represented by the most popular format — 25х1.06 m (the 25-meter roll length allows to reduce the remaining amount in comparison with usual 10-meter rolls).

Erismann (Germany), one of the leading European manufacturers, has been chosen as wallpaper production partner. The wallpaper collection including 14 design options has been developed in collaboration with it. The EMPILS collection of wallpaper which can be painted is developed on the basis of the most popular series of wallpaper made by Erismann, well reputed in various markets.

EMPILS wallpaper will be produced by Erismann's new facilities which were opened in 2004 in the Moscow region. Fliseline and vinyl paste are supplied to Russia from Germany and Belgium that guarantees invariable high quality of the final product.
