OREANDA-NEWS  On 10 October was announced, that the damage caused by an accident at the transmission line in the Irkutsk region was eliminated. At the accident, the city of Kirensk was cut off from the centralized power supply with the population of 19 thousand people.

The accident happened on the September 30 evening. For detection of its occurrence and elimination of the reasons, the team of experts of the "Northern Electric Systems" enterprise of JSC Irkutskenergo visited the Podymakhino-Kirensk 110 Power Line.

However, the search was hampered by heavy road conditions. The experts managed to find a break of electricity cables and to restore the power supply of the city in full.

384 inhabited houses and 74 social, administrative and industrial objects, including three schools, three children gardens and 26 thermal power sources of Kirensk were temporarily powered from eight reserve diesel generators, and there were no breaks in the life support of the city, according to the management.
