OREANDA-NEWS  On 10 October was announced, that Far East Telecom (РТС: ESPK, MICEX: DLSV, ADR USA: FEEOY, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Berlin Stock Exchange: D7A) Board of Directors approved Company Development Program for 2009-2013 at its September meeting held in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The Program prepared with regard to the integration of OJSC Sakhatelecom subsidiary company determines the Company development objectives for the next five years and proposes the basic events for the Program implementation.

Strategic tasks set for the Company for the period from 2009 to 2013 include enhancing telecommunications market share in total income; increasing Company operating efficiency; and Company market value growth.

In pursuance of the Program goals the Company plans to implement a package of measures in modern communication services introduction and development, transform its sales and service activity spectrum, ensure 100% network digitalization, increase revenues from traditional activities etc.

This will result in increased key performance values and strengthening of the Company leading position on new service (Internet, IP TV, VoD etc.) and fixed communications markets.
