Transaero Introduced Imperial Class on Long Haul Routes

Transaero’s Imperial Class is based on the best traditions in Russian Imperial hospitality combined with state-of-the-art technologies. The new class is available on Transaero’s Boeing 777s and 747-400 aircraft flying long haul routes. These flights now have four class configurations, including Imperial Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Tourist Economy Class.

The tailor made Imperial Class salon on Transaero aircraft seats 12 passengers in a 1-2-1 configuration and has all the luxurious trimmings of royalty: each extra wide seat is embroidered with golden cross-stitch and can be reclined 180 degrees into a comfortable, form fitting position for sleeping. Personal attendants in specially designed Imperial Class uniforms will wait on VIP passengers to meet every need.
Imperial Class passengers can enjoy a wide assortment of in flight entertainment options ranging from individual LCD TVs, audio visual multimedia players, the leading business dailies and magazines, and a personal travel-kit.
The Imperial Class in-flight menu selection has been prepared by world class chefs and includes the favorite dishes and delicacies of Russian emperors of the 19th century as well as the most exquisite European cuisine.
