ROSNO Pays Over 2,6 Million Roubles for Burned-Out Bus in Samara
OREANDA-NEWS. October 09, 2008. ROSNO has paid damage compensation to a Samara-based company under the MOD insurance contract for the MAZ-103075 bus, manufactured in 2006, which had been damaged by fire, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
The fire broke out in the night when the bus was located on the company's parking lot, due to short circuit in the power cable. The probable reason for the fire is malfunction of the bus's units and aggregates. The resulting fire badly damaged the passenger compartment. This event has been recognized as insured accident under the "Fire" risk, and the vehicle condition has been classified as structural loss.
The insurance compensation paid by ROSNO has amounted to 2,610,000 roubles.
