OREANDA-NEWS. October 9, 2008. While opening the exhibition Sobyanin read out the welcoming address of Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin. The message said: “Russia highly values its mutually beneficial political and business cooperation with Bulgaria and the strong cultural and creative ties uniting Russian and Bulgarian scientists and artists.”

“This exhibition is demonstrating not only Russia’s best achievements but also the prospects for Russian-Bulgarian trade-economic and scientific-technological cooperation. It is an opportunity for Bulgaria to better know the capacities of Russian companies not only from Moscow and St. Petersburg but also from other regions.”

Prime Minister of Bulgaria Sergei Stanishev was also present at the opening ceremony.
