OREANDA-NEWS. October 9, 2008. New advanced technology equipment by famous western producers is installed at the enterprise. It enables irreproachable quality by processing workpieces for different wheels. In the first place, this is a profiling complex by HAEUSLER AG (Switzerland) which is intended for producing rims of various diameters and widths; a disk rolling machine by WF (Germany) with program control and automated blanks supply which makes it possible to produce disks for wheels with diameter from 310 mm to 650 mm. The technology gives an opportunity to improve the operating characteristics of vehicles with the help of wheel weight saving by 10%.

The equipment is designed for production of 500 thousand profiled wheels a year. A part of the KAMAZ vehicle family will be equipped with them. There is a wide range of wheels produced for other auto makers as well.

The most up-to-date wheels have a number of considerable advantages in comparison with sectional ones: they lighten a vehicle by 250 kg, reduce the unsprung mass of a vehicle that guarantees smooth running and decrease wear of suspension and steering parts. In addition, they have a longer operating life and reduce fuel consumption by 5%.
